The house was cozy, spotless clean in quiet surroundings. We love a little walk around the area and this place is a nice break from a long road trip. Our host was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend to spend a night or few in south view house.

It was lovely and quiet which was great, having come from a busy city. Very comfortable, got a good night's sleep. Just a great place to relax. Owners very thoughtful as they had a xmas tree in the living room, which made it feel very festive.

What is not to like! The property was beautiful and had the most amazing views in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The lodge was spotless, beautifully furnished and very cosy. To look out of the full glass aspect over the fields of barley towards dunnet head was just amazing. We had deers in the fields, hares, rabbits and plenty of other wildlife to watch while enjoying the view. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed and more to make a perfect base for our family break. We had great communication with the owners throughout and a warm welcome on arrival. Christine went over everything with us and the information booklet provided was comprehensive and full of tips and ideas whilst in the area. Great location for dunnet beach, Thurso, John o groats and more. We took a ferry over to Orkney as well which made the trip even more special. I cannot recommend this property any more highly… stunning lodge, stunning views, peaceful, well equipped and fantastic hosts. Thank you and we will certainly be visiting again!

    It was very clean, very modern. You have all the dishes there you could possibly need, the beds are very comfortable! Shower gel and hand soap felt very luxurious and smelt very nice! The hot tub overlooking sea and some amazing cliffs, very peaceful and quiet. You can reach shops like Morrisons and Tesco within couple mins drive. We are already thinking about booking again cause it was just amazing stay and the scenery is beautiful ❤️ Thank you for such an affordable and luxury stay !

    Braeside Retreats is a Beautiful Pod with 360 Degree Views. Everything you need for a Self Catering Trip or offers the option to jump into the Car and Drive to the Local Town. The Hot Tub is Fabulous and a great added Bonus, allows pets and the Pod offers peace and quiet if you are looking to escape. Thanks for a great stay!
