My husband, 4 year old daughter and I absolutely loved this gorgeous cottage. It was very homely and had everything you could possibly need! It was the perfect retreat after a busy day at Colchester Zoo. It smelled amazing as we walked in, it was clean and tidy and very warm, most people would love this but we are "hot bods" so I asked the host to turn the heat down and straight away I had a reply letting me know they had done just that which was perfect! My daughter loved the games in the cupboard and she really enjoyed her bath too! She said she wished we could have stayed longer 🙂 I messaged a few times before we arrived with questions, which they answered almost immediately and were so helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend it and visit again in the future!

House is a generously proportioned 3 bed detached on an estate 5 mins walk from the beach. A lot of care has been taken to ensure a homely feel. Provision of cake, milk, plenty of coffee pods for the machine, some basic food items enough for a meal if you arrive late (replace on trust). Tastefully done xmas decorations were up for our stay (27-30 Dec). We were able to host extended family during the day without feeling cramped. Simple instructions for entry, and enough information about the area provided. Would stay again as have relatives nearby.

Utter perfection!!! There really is no other way to describe this property. It is set in a stunning location, and beautifully decorated throughout. The owners have provided almost literally everything you could possibly need or want, and to the highest quality, from the cutlery to the bedroom curtains, it’s loveliness everywhere! There were thoughtful touches like the bowl of fruit, milk and butter. The hot tub was amazing and watching the hares dashing about the surrounding fields was so cool.

    It was very comfortable and well decorated. The bathrooms were excellent. Tillingham was an attractive village and we enjoyed visiting Burnham on Crouch and Bradwell.

    Wow, where to start! This little cottage is absolutely stunning! So many added extras and little touches that made our stay phenomenal. Loved the little box of toys, tea and coffee, bottled water, super soft towels. The interior design is high end and luxury. Plenty of seating, and beautiful outside space.

    Clean and comfortable, especially the bedrooms. Shower good. Nice big family dining table. Easy access to garden, which was properly enclosed for the dog. Village is in lovely surroundings and relatively peaceful.
