Gilda the host was fantastic, the property is stunning, the kitchen has really good quality utensils. sitting in the house looking out over the North sea with the wind blowing and snow coming down, whilst in the warmth of a lovely home was priceless. Its my wife's perfect environment and she did not want to leave!! Gilda the host was great, we actually got our car stuck in the snow at the bottom of the hill, we were supposed to leave at 10am but Gilda had already called us to see that we were ok with the snow that had come down, and she said no need to rush out the following day as there were no tenants due, this took off great pressure as we stayed util around 5pm had dinner at the property and then headed for a slow snowy drive to Lerwick to pick up our 7pm crossing on the boat.

The apartment is very nicely decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The table was laid when I arrived and there was a tray with goods from a local shop waiting for me. The communication with the hosts was very friendly and informative. The location is ideal, and Lerwick's cafes, shops and restaurants are only a few steps away.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and cozy, beds were confortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the welcome gifts were nice. Neighbourhood is quiet and the hoise is close to bus stops. We felt like home.

Great location, very comfortable, superb facilities in the house. The host even left a welcome pack with essential items if you had forgotten anything. I would highly recommend this as a base for exploring The Shetland Islands.

The location was great, in a quiet area, but just a short walk into the centre. Cathy was really helpful in giving us an earlier check in. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived. It was very clean and the wifi was great. The house was very homely and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely, hot water was plentiful. I would highly recommend the property and would definitely love to stay here again.
