Amazing stay at Bazaleti Lake, with a host that truly showed us the spirit of Georgian culture regarding guests! Firstly, the property itself: this is a quiet, cosy area in walking distance to the lake, that was clearly built with love and care. The houses were new, clean and comfortable, and for their size they were surprisingly able to fit everything we needed for our stay. The balcony had a nice view and it was very nice to sleep under the wooden roof. Somehow even better was the outdoors area - this had comfy seating areas, a large table, a pool, and a large shared kitchen with great facilities. Second, the host: such generosity of spirit you would be lucky to encounter! He invited us to a feast and showed us the art of Georgian toast-making, took us around the local area in an exciting way, and in general was an amazing part of our entire trip to Georgia.

We had an unforgettable stay at this cottage right on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir. The location is simply stunning – you step outside, and you’re right by the water, surrounded by mountains and breathtaking views. The property itself is huge, giving plenty of space to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and feel completely private. The house is beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need – from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy bedroom and modern bathroom. It felt like a perfect mix of comfort and nature.

Everything! The house is beautiful, both big and cosy at the same time. My husband and I stopped in Ananuri for one night but wish we were staying longer! Communication was great, the instructions on how to get there were clear. Parking is outside the gate. On entering the house you can’t help but say Wow! The two bathrooms are big and have nice tiles. There is one on each floor. There are also two double bedrooms upstairs. Both of those have bedside lamps (a rarity in Georgia, we have found!), sockets, and balconies. The bed we slept in was very comfy and had soft clean and snuggly bedding. There is also an internal balcony and seating area. Downstairs is a single bedroom, a kitchenette/ dining area (fully stocked) with a washing machine and a dishwasher. The main living area has a magnificent fireplace, sofa and chairs, and a swing seat. Outside is a whole room with seating, table, and the big fridge is out here. The view from the upper floors takes in the hills and the river. The garden goes down almost to the river if you venture down the steps. There is a Spar nearby too for supplies. All in all it is the best place we have ever stayed in, over many years of holidaying in various countries doing road trips. I’d like to live here!! If we return to Georgia we will absolutely stay here again. The value for money is exceptional.

My recent stay at Mtskhetela's House in Mtskhetela was truly exceptional. The accommodations provided were excellent, offering comfort and convenience throughout my visit. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, one minor challenge I encountered was a lack of communication due to the host's limited English proficiency. Despite this, I found ways to overcome the language barrier, and it did not significantly detract from my overall experience. I must commend Eleena, one of the hosts at Mtskhetela's House, for her outstanding care and attentiveness. Despite the communication challenges, Eleena went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. Her genuine care and dedication truly made a positive impact on my experience. Overall, Mtskhetela's House provided a wonderful stay, with excellent accommodations and exceptional hospitality from Eleena. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to other travelers visiting Mtskhetela.

The location and view of the lake are amazing. The house itself is huge, with plenty of space for 6-8 people. A cozy summer house to spend some time outdoors but not under the sun. A grill is provided to make a fire and cook something there.

Despite a place being very comfy and beautiful, There were necessary amenities provided for us. There was a good audio dynamics, tv with netflix, dishwasher...i wish i lived there! 😂😂❤️
