Beautiful decor, so clean and tidy. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay lovely. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor area, attention to detail is so appreciated. The BBQ is great. Having two bathrooms is so lovely and fresh towels after 2 days was a treat.

A wonderful spacious villa, with a magnificent view and a perfect pool. The view both at night and during the day was breathtaking. The pool was excellent and enjoyed it to the max! The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was truly very kind and helpful. Would totally recommend staying here, a true gem of the area!

Honestly, I was a little unsure about booking. The reality exceeded expectations. The owners were very attentive. They sent us a message on booking to let us know when we were arriving and left a cute note with our name on the door. The villa is elegant, modern, clean, has a sea and mountain view. We had 2 super beautiful terraces on the first floor. We found everything we needed: kettle, coffee filter, hair dryer, kitchen utensils and much more. Upon arrival, they left us a bottle of wine. The cleaning lady was very kind, attentive. The towels and linen were impeccable and changed during our stay. Quiet, lovely white and red Japanese roses at the entrance! The villa is very close to taverns, shops, beaches. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

For us, it was a unique opportunity to experience a truly authentic stay in the middle of an old olive tree plantation. The accommodation oozes rustic charm while remaining very comfortable (with AC), and the owners have thought of every detail — the place is extremely well equipped. Privacy was excellent we had the whole property for ourselves), and being surrounded by Cretan nature really helped us unwind and relax. Communication with the owners was great, and they kindly welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit.

    Everyone should visit villa archontiko! The villa is for 8 people, in exchellent condition, with a traditional touch and detailed oriented. The views are breathtaking and the location is in a small local village Asfakiou near Sfakia. Also the host welcome us with a big smile!!

    A very nicely reconstructed traditional house. Spacious, clean and equipped with everything needed for solo travelers who don't like all inclusive. Beautiful view from the terrace of Mount Kástro (we were at the top). Fres is a quiet and peaceful mountain village. Church bells and sheep bells completed the romantic atmosphere that we love so much.

    The Villa has the most spectacular location. Tranquil and beautiful views. Nights spent stargazing and days swimming and watching eagles circling in the sky. Friendly and very welcoming hosts.
