It’s a little hidden gem. Literally! The photos to be honest are not describing exactly how beautiful this house it is . Close to everything we wanted to visit with very nice balcony to enjoy the sunset . Very clean , maybe the cleanest Airbnb I ever visit that is really important for us. Friendly owner they guide us perfectly about the location , restaurants, beaches etc. we will definitely visit this place again!

Filia's House has soul. Filia was there to greet me & she was there with her mother and child to say Goodbye. She arranged all my taxi needs and had left a fruit bowl with snacks with a guide for local services and points of interest. Everything was in the kitchen that one would need and a washing machine was in the very large and lovely bathroom. The decor in all the rooms was original pieces of artwork and handicraft items. These colourful pieces and antiques gave a very positive and warm feeling to the home. It had a charming wood burning stove with wood available. There is a massive terrace with a panoramic view of the sea overlooking the very charming town of Aeropoli. The location is like something from a film as it is set in a mostly abandoned tiny village called Sotiras with stone houses and even a chapel. However, Some of the residents, new or those who have roots there have had their houses renovated or even rebuilt from the stones left there. Filia's House was built by her father from the stones on the their property. There are only stone paths to walk through the village to get right to the property. But it's not far from where cars can stop and park. There are 2 grocery stores just down the hill on the main highway. The location was fabulous with a panoramic view just below the top of a mountain overlooking the colourful town of Aeropoli.

Lovely villa complex 6km outside Gythio. We found it hard to find initially with address in Greek, eventually put name Spedion Villa into google maps and found it. Small yellow sign on main road then down thru olive grove. There is a beach near but we didn’t use it and the pool looked nice but a bit cool. Villa was very nice had everything you needed was nice and quiet. Breakfast by the pool was very good with lots of choices. Not much out there so drove back into Gythio for dinner.

This is my third time in the Peloponnese, i thought that was it, but because of the accommodation, i would come back again. Everything is beautiful, much more beautiful than in photographs. The girl who welcomed us, i guess the owner, is wonderful and beautiful.

The owners were beautiful and very helpful. Location is perfectly central to so many truly breathtaking places in the Peleponnese. Food and hospitality at Resalto Cafe in Gytheion was always perfect. The accommodation is great for long stays in the Peleponnese. Very family friendly and very affordable, walking distance to the beautiful Mavrovounie beach. Definitely coming back in the future. It felt like being in YiaYia's home. Thankyou Stella, Varvara and family. Love always from 2 happy Australian girls.
