The villa is amazing! Amazing location and views. So peaceful. The service was also fantastic. We were able to order food and snacks through the day and the staff was always available to help out. The villa itself and pool were great and super clean, well maintained.

By my reckoning the truest measure of holiday accommodation is the staff, and at Sasoon the staff were all absolutely top-notch. Every single member of the team were so welcoming and friendly. They would take the time to welcome us every time we emerged from the villa or returned from a day out, asking with genuine interest how our day was going. If we needed anything at all they would go out of their way to help. Surini was fantastic at arranging massages and transport for us when we messaged her via WhatsApp, often at very short notice, including a day out from the lovely and knowledgeable gent who runs a warung down the road that was amazing. The pool was cleaned every morning before we woke, without disturbing us in the slightest. The villa itself is extremely spacious and comfortable. The pool is glorious. The bed was very comfortable with clean sheets and we slept very well. Having an outdoor shower was a new experience for me but very refreshing! The WiFi is strong and fast, with coverage over the entire villa. There is a slightly tired but fully functional kitchen, although we didn't use it because there are plenty of excellent restaurants within short walking distance. There's a large supply of mineral water and ice made from mineral water in the freezer. Walking around Candidasa is very realistic from this location, whilst the the same time the villa is fairly peaceful. There's a little hustle and bustle from the street and surrounding villas, but nothing disturbing. For Bali it was peaceful. Some other reviewers had problems with the local wildlife, to which I say: don't come to Bali then! There will be insects everywhere you go. Nothing can stop insect life. Where there are insects there will be geckos. At Villa Sasoon they were no worse than anywhere else and not bothersome. I'm not sure how these previous customers expect the staff to magic away the natural world!

Absolutely amazing views from the villa and the private infinity pool. Everything is very luxurious and well thought out, without being too much. Staff is so nice and welcoming and helps you with anything you might need. The food was very good as well and all meals felt generous (nice steady breakfast, three course menu if your choice for lunch and dinner).
