Location was fabulous. Lovely walk along the water a short way into town. We met so many friendly families and dogs along the pathway. Ruth was very helpful and ensured we had everything we need for our stay. Lovely home touches in the cottage itself to make our stay comfortable. Parking was right out front.

Everything . Beautiful property in a lovely tranquil setting . Hosts James and grace are so welcoming , as are the menagerie of animals . This place has everything you need for a relaxing escape.

We had a great stay at your beautiful cottages! We absolutely loved the little fairy trail you’ve created for children—it was such a magical touch. The cottages themselves are of the highest standard: very comfortable, warm, and inviting. The view from the cottage was breathtaking. Drinking coffee in the mornings while gazing out at the spectacular scenery was truly unforgettable. It was also a pleasure to watch the friendly alpacas roaming on the farm. Jo and Sue, the hosts, were incredibly helpful yet allowed us to enjoy our stay with complete independence. The nearby tourist attractions were all within a short drive—no more than 30 minutes away. We had the most magical Christmas ever, and it was all thanks to your wonderful hospitality and the charm of the cottages.

Lovely wee house in a perfect location for exploring County Wicklow. Dog friendly is a real plus for us.The house is beautifully decorated and the outside area, especially the communal pond and garden are gorgeous. The cliff walk beside Wicklow golf club is fantastic Beautiful Magheramore beach is very close too. Good restaurants nearby. The Bridge Tavern in Wicklow town, Trento pasta takeaway also. Avoca mills café and shop in Avoca, excellent lunch.

Perfect location, right in the middle of the town. House was perfect, 2 separate floor with their own bathrooms and lovely living/dining area. We couldn’t fault the accommodation

Everything about this air bnb was excellent!! It exceeded our expectations. We would go back and stay there again. The place provided a basket of timber and the host had the fire lit upon our arrival time. We accidently broke a wine glass and the host was most understanding of this. The shower is an amazing shower! The views of the countryside and hills as a backdrop is really beautiful. The kitchen had a stock of fairy liquid, dishwasher tablets, cling film, tin foil, sugar etc. Which was great. The beds were comfy, feather duvets. There is a well kitted out kitchen dishwasher washing machine cooker hob -no microwave, no TV, but we didn't mind as we didn't need them. There was plenty of towels and the place was immaculately clean!! We thought the place was brand new, it was that clean! The garden out the back is very pretty, small but nice for a morning coffee. The binoculars were cool to have as well. We enjoyed the quiz game and the cosy atmosphere with the fire lit over a few glasses of vino. It really is a special place to chill in and also be a convenient base for people wanting to explore the wicklow trails and sights.

A unique setting and accomodation, very clean and comfortable furnishings. Good communication from owners of assistance if needed. Kitchen was functional with all crockery available as needed. Fire pit was was a lovely addition enjoyed under festoon lighting. I would highly recommend a stay in Tranquil Tigín.

My girlfriend and I rarely conduct longs reviews of the places we have stayed accommodations, but Deerstone really deserved to be an exception. Our stay there was exceptional from the beginning. Casey made sure that we do not have any problems finding the place and that everything was ready before our arrival (her welcome handmade bread was truly delicious). The house we stayed clearly exceeded our expectations… It was everything we needed and more. Cooking at this kitchen with warm lights and music at the bluetooth speakers, playing some boardgames at a quiet place, watching a movie above the chimney with projector (we are definitively going to by the same projector model) at night, the softness of the sheets… The house was so cozy that it was hard to convince my girlfriend to leave the accommodation to do some hiking. Great routes such as the Spinc are 5 minutes by car and there are other easy and nice walks starting right next to the house. Deers can be easily spotted and there are a high variety of different landscapes (forests, grass hills, rivers, lakes, steep rocky mountains…). Angela was paying attention to all our needs and, by the time we were back from the hiking (the routes were amazing despite the rain and the wind), we have the sauna and hot tub ready to use. I was a degree of attention and luxury that we are clearly not used to 😊 Being in the hot tub in the open air while raining and with views to the mountains at sunset was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. We didn't have enough time to enjoy other facilities of the place, such as the yoga lounge next to the river, ping-pong tables... Every detail has been taking into consideration and the whole place has a amazing vibe.

We booked this house as a group of friends and it had everything we wished for. A beautiful house with load of room and nooks and crannies and large open spaces, side by side. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and our group really enjoyed the cinema room. The bedrooms and the beds were some of the nicest we ever stayed on, you can really feel the effort all over the house by the host. Beautifully decorated and spotless. It is the perfect house for groups with its large kitchen and conservatory and its most loved feature- its bar! Set in the stunning village of Laragh, 2 mins walk to the local pub- Lynams and 5 mins from delicious food at The Wicklow Heather and Glendalough on your door step! Lisa is wonderful host, so warm and welcoming, full of local knowledge and interesting stories. Our trip felt so Christmassy with all the stunning lights around the house. We will come back for sure! Highly recommended!
