The Yellow Door is a lovely townhouse. It is stylish, clean, spacious and comfortable. Rachel and Niall were great to deal with and surprised us with sweets and snacks on the dining table and milk in the fridge. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. Four bedrooms with comfy beds, three bathrooms, two living room areas, a proper sized dining table and a nice kitchen. In case of a longer stay we would have missed a dishwasher, but that was not an issue for us, as we were only staying one night. Initially we were worried that not having a self-check-in with keys in a lockbox might be an inconvenience due to our tight travel schedule, but the owners made check-in and check-out absolutely smooth and uncomplicated. Due to our travel plans we were only able to spend one night, but we'd love to come back some day!

The house was very comfortable and clean. There were some snacks which is really nice of the owner. Kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook everything there. Everything was amazing.

Everything which the property has to offer. The property is very well maintained with all basic amenities. The property is located in a very prime spot with easy access to Aldi and SuperValue. The Kitchen is equipped with all utensils one may need. It is a big spacious property with comfortable bedding and aesthetically pleasing ambiance. We loved our stay at the Garden Retreat. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating, without being intrusive. Scones with homemade jam on arrival was delicious. There was plenty of room, with everything we could possibly need. The heated tiles in the bathroom floor were a real treat. And Alfie, the dog was gorgeous. He sort of played fetch. It was very quiet and peaceful but not far into Killarney and handy to supermarket. It was all fabulous. Thanks Niki and David.

We had a wonderful stay! Brendan, the host, was easy to communicate with and always available if needed, making everything seamless. The house itself is a traditional country home—basic yet impeccably clean and fully equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s incredibly spacious, with a large kitchen featuring a big table, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and more. Anything you could possibly need is provided. It was just me and my partner, so we only used one room, and the bed was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower rooms are simple but spotless, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. A special highlight was the lovely fireplace—it added a cozy charm to the stay and was an extra bonus we thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re looking to stay in a traditional Irish home with all the essentials, this is the perfect place to book. Brendan was a pleasure to deal with, and we would definitely stay here again!

Oh my god, where do I start, we stayed at No20 which has recently been refurbished, WOW it is amazing, like a show room, everything was brand new and top quality, just amazing the beds were so comfy, the sitting room beautiful and kitchen fantastic. Couldn’t fault anything here, well done will definitely recommend to friends

Ann…was a lovely host. Very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. House was everything we were looking for. Quiet, traditional homely Irish feel. Quite central so that we could drive out in different directions.
