Great cottage! It had everything needed, we made use of the super hot tub and gas barbecue! The bed was comfortable and the place looked modern. It was located in a remote place, which is good if you value privacy. You have some attractions nearby, including the glacier and lava caves.

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. I can't thank the Hotel Manager enough! Iceland was experiencing unprecedented weather with -20 temperatures. We had booked a lodge with a hot tub but because of the cold, the pipes had frozen. Naturally we were disappointed, it was my 50th birthday and we had visions of seeing the Northern lights from the tub. The Hotel Manager went way above what we expected, he moved us to another lodge and personally oversaw the filling of the new hot tub, ensuring it reached the right temperature. At 9pm whilst in the tub we saw aurora borealis! What a memory! Thank you!
