Great spacious place to stay. We enjoyed having the place largely to ourselves. Not so much to do at the location but an easy 20 minute walk to lake area & restaurants. Back garden access to the beach though not sure how safe is swimming in the sea. Apartment is a but quirky but was clean, huge & well equipped. Our host Maurizio was easy to communicate with.

    Our stay at Casa de Ale in Messina was an absolute delight! The hosts, Ale and Antonello, were exceptional, making us feel truly welcome. The villa itself was beautifully styled with traditional Sicilian charm, and having our own terrace with private beach access was a highlight. Being within walking distance to supermarkets and dining options made our stay convenient and enjoyable. My husband did the Messina Strait swim and this was an ideal base. Overall, a perfect 10/10 for an unforgettable Sicilian seaside experience!
