The apartment was very clean and cozy. we can see that Gianluigi and his wife put in a lot of effort to make the place cozy. they provided snacks and breakfast items. Great location, it’s near the train station, the town centre and the port. However, if you are arriving at the port with suitcases, best to catch a taxi as it’s a steep climb with many stairs up to the town area. Guanluigi has been super helpful. he provided us with good information and advice and helped arranged for our car transfer to and from Naples. we highly recommend La Coccinella!

We had a wonderful stay at Paolo’s apartment in Sorrento. Paolo was an excellent communicator and checked in regularly via text to make sure we were happy. The apartment is newly renovated, extremely clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a self-contained stay. The air conditioning in both bedrooms kept the whole place cool during the summer heat. Large bedrooms with ample wardrobe space. We were three adults and three children. The sofa bed was perfect and Paolo kindly provided an extra fold out single bed upon request. It’s close to the main shopping street but far enough away to enjoy a quieter escape, and having a supermarket just below was so handy. It’s only a short 15-minute walk to the marina with great restaurants and a lovely swimming spot, and there’s easy bus access to wherever you want to go. Nice view of the sea with a cool breeze in the afternoons. As Paolo wasn’t available when we arrived, Alida greeted us – she was so kind, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

The place was the perfect last stop on a two week trip to Italy. After Rome and Florence I cant tell you how great it felt to be perfectly perched up in Priora with breathtaking views of Vesuvius, the Bay of Napes, Sorrento city center, and Ischia. We were met by Emmanuela who walked us through the gorgeous villa, helped us with our bags and immediately felt like family. The villa is simply stunning. A perfect mix of old and new and we literally had the entire villa to ourselves. The sunsets from the terrace in the evening cant be described but Ill will tell you that the real gem here is Carlo and Emmanuela themselves. The truly get what it means to be a host and understand service that exceeds your expectations. Fresh lemons, oranges, and eggs in the mornings was always welcomed. We mentioned to Emmanuela once how expensive the taxies were and everyday she checked with us to see when we were going into town and Carlo took us and and picked us up on numerous occasions. The real example was after a LONG day on the boat exploring the coast Emmanuela recommended a very popular pizzeria in town....I called around 8 pm only to realized they did not accept cash....I HAD NO CASH AND % STARVING PEOPLE!!!! Carlo, who was slammed running the family restaurant on Marina Piccolo made my family a ton of pizzas, stopped at ANOTHER place and got us 5 tiramisus, delivered the pizzas at 9:30 and went back to work to finish the night....WHO DOES THAT! The communication from Emmanuela in the months up to the stay were fantastic. The place is the perfect mix of creature comforts and nature with landscaping in the grounds that is just beautiful. We will never stay anywhere else when we are in the area and felt like we now have not only a gorgeous home away from home but new Italian family and we were blessed to fall upon Emmanuela, Carlo, and Villa Carolina! We had a wonderful stay at the property! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Sorrento and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable, and although we didn’t use the kitchen, it looked well-equipped. Check-in was smooth and easy, and we really appreciated being able to leave our bags both before and after check-in. The staff at the bistro downstairs were also friendly and helpful. As the apartment is located in the city centre, there was some noise at night, but it wasn’t a problem for any of us, just part of the lively atmosphere of Sorrento!

The location was perfect in the heart of Sorrento near restaurants, shops, etc. A short walk from the train station and buses to visit the Amalfi coast. Alida was very nice and helpful. We spent 2 days and moved to the other side of the peninsula but one could easily make it the center of your trip and take the train, buses, ferrys, to the visit the Pompeii, the Amalfi coast, Capri, etc. The apartment fits 4 people. The apartment would be even better if the second room had a futon (I think the bed collapse into a sofa) and make it a living room and let the people change it to a bed at night. If there are only two people (like we were), then the room stays as a living room with a nice balcony. Just a suggestion that would make the place even better.
