We had contacted the host about check-in time, but the weather of the days before was unexpected and we have to re-arrange the schedule of check-in several times, but the host was very understanding and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place is an renovated Japanese tradition house which has beautiful structure and modern functions with tatami mats and heating floor system. The futon was so comfortable to sleep on. Everything was very clean and well prepare. The garden was also very big and well-cared. And one of the best thing is the location of the house. It's located in the very center where you can literally walk to any spot from Kenroku-en to shopping streets. The parking is right next to the house which makes it very convenient for people who travel by car. This is the place for you in Kanazawa! We would love to be here again. Absolutely lovely place to stay. The host, Mr.Hitty, was so kind and showed us around the house. We got beautiful presents, we really do appreciate it. There was a sake bottle in the fridge, what a nice surprise. Flowers were so pretty, our hosts wife had done it. The house was old and full of charisma, and air-conditioning worked like it should. Toilet was super 👍 We fell in love with Kanazawa and our stay in Kanazawa Machiya Kenroku ❤️

The owner provided a complimentary pick-up at Kanazawa Station for my family of 6 pax with 7 luggages. The location was within 5 mins walk to a convenient family mart, within 10-15 walk to the Castle, Kenrɓokuen Garden and Higashi Chaya District. Oh, and we all loved the heated floors, especially for the icy weather. Yakuta was provided too. There's PlayStation too for the kids,

Nice cute little house all to yourself. The staff were really kind and helpful, they booked a taxi for us to the house. Very clean and great location. Quiet neighborhood.
