The host Ayaka was very hospitable! She arranged to meet us at a nearby supermarket to buy ingredients to cook on the traditional fireplace and then led the way to the property which is located in the primeval forest of Nara. She then showed us how to start the charcoal fire for grill and hotpot. The futon beds were very comfortable, perfect for a good rest after a sumptuous meal around the fireplace, and a good soak in the tub.

This is a very large property with lots of space for a family. It’s Japanese style but there are also western style beds if you prefer. The owner is very kind and left many snacks and food for us to enjoy. She is an excellent communicator. The location is perfect - right next to Nara station

The host is very kind and helpful. It happened to my birthday during my stay in Nara Park Blue Sky and the host and his wife came particularly to send me a birthday gift. I was so moved and thankful for their kindness and mindfulness. The tour information provided by the host is very informative and helpful.
