HARD TO FIND - PLEASE CHECK TIPS BELOW!! Wow, what a new, modern, beautifully styled room. Nice quiet spot off the busy road, friendly hosting family, comfy bed and sheets, plenty of space to put bags and belongings, fresh open air bathroom with large plants, a bath and shower gel/shampoo. The problem was, we have iPhones and used Apple Maps to get to the place, and we never got there! The location on Apple Maps and the address on Booking.com is wrong!! We spent hours driving around with no wifi, asking locals where it was and no one knew. And no one was answering the number provided by Booking.com. So tips, use google maps to locate the place! There isn’t any business signs, it’s a large brick/block fence with a black gate on the corner (vacant block to door). I have added photos from the street. And lastly, it is well worth finding! They are also building a couple more rooms for the future.

The owner is really nice and friendly. He really cares about the guests comfort. He sorted out within a few hours WiFi for me with the speed that I was able to work. It’s clean and comfortable with fresh towels. I decided to rebook a few times because had a really nice stay. The location is also good with many restaurants around and walking distance to the beach. The owner even gave me a lift to the city.

The view and the staff and the rooms were all amazing! Priya was an excellent manager. The guard was exceptionally helpful giving me his cycle so I could bike around. They even arranged a tuk tuk for me and also helped with airport drop off. Over all a 100/100 stay!

The hotel is really well thought out and perfectly arranged. We stayed in the room on the ground floor in front of the pool. The rooms are very spacious, very good bedding, many electrical outlets, 2 ceiling fans + air conditioning, ceiling lights and wall sconces with dimmers. Large open wardrobe + shelf to unpack his stuff. Bathroom of great quality, very well made with large shower to avoid watering all the space. Beautiful semi-blackout curtains in the bedroom. Small outdoor living room. Very nice shallow pool with jaccuzzi Exterior tres neat, with outside shower + tap to rinse your feet. Very nice outdoor lighting to stroll outside at the end of the day. The hotel is 2 mins by tuk-tuk and 20 mins walk from the bustling center of Ahangama, Marsmallows surf spots... The place is incredibly quiet, at the bottom of a path away from the road. The owner and his family live in the 3 neighboring houses, not opposite. They are also very attentive to the needs of guests and always tend to ensure a quality service. You can request a Tuk-tuk (family). Really reasonable rates wherever you want to go. A simple WhatsApp message is enough to trigger the drop or pick-up. Sri Lankan breakfast on site possible...! Sampath, the manager speaks very good English. He will make you regret having to leave because he is extremely nice and helpful. Do not fail to honour him as he should when leaving. The facility is set to grow but everything has been carefully thought out so that your stay in MJ Haven Point’s walls will be a great memory. We highly recommend this haven of calm and rest of high quality that has nothing to envy to the starred hotels.

This place is amazing. In the busiest season of the year, it finds it difficult to get chepear and comfortable accommodation. But Spring Villa has all that everyone needs to stay comfortable; a/c, nice beds, enough space, hot water, unequaled location (far from the noise of the traffic, in a beautiful neighborhood, close to Marshmallow and Kabalana surf points and 10 minutes to the center town by foot). Finally, standing out the kindness and warthness from the owners... it makes you feel at home. Cooking local dishes for breakfast, waving goodbye all the time that we leave and fulfilling the needs we had. We will miss them a lot! Please don't hesitate 🙏. You won't regret being there!

Villa Sanford was great. Very clean and stylish place with everything you need. It has a spacious garden to relax and wind down. It's located within easy walking distance of the centre of Ahangama with great cafes and shops. Also Kabalana Beach and two popular surfspots with surfboardrental are reachable within minutes. Would absolutely recommend staying there!

Our stay at Villa Greenjay was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible hospitality of our host, Jaya. Right from the start, Jaya went above and beyond by picking us up from the airport in Colombo in his own car, which was a lovely personal touch. Upon arrival, we were greeted with refreshing watermelon juice, courtesy of his helper, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. Jaya's generosity continued throughout our visit, as he shared delicious mangoes and coconut water from his own house with us, a gesture that made us feel truly at home. The villa's location is simply perfect, nestled conveniently near Ahangama and Weligama. For those keen on surfing and exploring the local cafes, you'll find the villa ideally situated. However, do consider renting a scooter or a bicycle for easy transportation, as it enhances the experience of exploring the nearby areas. As for the amenities, Villa Greenjay didn't disappoint. The WiFi connection was fantastic, ensuring we stayed connected whenever needed. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. Additionally, the villa boasts a living room, which is a great space for unwinding after a day of adventures. The pictures don't do a good job of showing you how much space you're getting inside and outside the house. For the price he is offering, you don't get as good a deal in the area. One of the highlights of our stay was the wildlife we encountered. Seeing peacocks and monkeys in our front yard added an exotic and exciting element to our experience. I cannot speak highly enough of the helper at the villa, who was incredibly nice and maintained the highest standard of cleanliness throughout our stay. I highly, highly, highly recommend Villa Greenjay. Whether it’s the hospitality, location, amenities, or the overall experience, everything about our stay was remarkable.

Valores resort so beautiful and very clean. The room was huge and had great amenities. The host really made us feel welcome and offered us tea every day which was such a nice touch! He also organized a taxi to the airport upon ending our trip which was very convenient and helpful. The location is down a really quiet street and about 10 minutes walk to the beach and some cute boutique restaurants and clubs.
