The location was absolutely so serene and beautiful ❤️ The property was surrounded by tall trees and the lake that made it so lovely to have your morning coffe on the balcony. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. So worth the price you pay and the property is well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay at Ama Homestay! The hosts are truly lovely people - very kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. We had an entire floor with two bedrooms with AC, bathroom, a complete kitchen and a living room, which made out stay very comfortable and homely. Everithing was clean, spacious and well maintained. The atmosphere is warm and safe and we felt completely at home, as part of the family. If we return to Colombo, we definitely come back here. Highly recomended for anyone looking for a friendly and cozy place to stay. .

I had a wonderful stay at Vistra Home! The place was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The caretaker was especially kind and helpful, making sure everything we needed was taken care of. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. The place has this calm, homely feel that’s hard to come by, and it made us feel relaxed straight away. The standout? Definitely the privacy. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You’re close enough to everything, but it still feels like your own little world. Every detail was spot on — from the comfy setup to the thoughtful touches that showed real care. You can tell it’s been put together with love, not just for looks but for actual comfort. Honestly, it was one of those rare places that actually feels better than the photos. Perfect for couples who want to switch off, slow down, and just enjoy being somewhere that feels like home — only better. We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back. Beautiful place with front garden and with lots of Bird's and Bird's sounds..and full privacy To simply "sit and enjoy the flora and fauna" in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Then go to this, about 50 years old parental Haus, with lots of special characters..go and discover.. More than all very trustworthy And very helpful couple When I am back in Colombo, i am sure I will be here again...

We stayed at this house for 2 days while on holiday. It is conveniently located closer to Kottawa Town. The property is next to a paddy field in a peaceful relaxing environment. It also has air conditioned clean rooms, full kitchen, bathrooms, etc. There is lot of space for kids to play and and strolling on the paddy fields was an extra. Host communicated proactively via the web site and gave us a number to contact for getting the key. He met us at the arrival and gave us a tour of the house. Overall extremely satisfied and great place.

From the minute we arrived the staff were attentive and interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible, especially I think as we were in our 70's, nothing was too much trouble, very professional. Breakfast was excellent. The Manager went out of his way to show us to a nearby very good restaurant, The Embassy. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a Colombo hotel which provided facecloths, along with a bath tub, it was a real treat! The pool was extremely clean. The neighbourhood very quiet making it a peaceful two night holiday. We will be back next time we have to go to Colombo for sure.

We had a lovely time at this homestay. The house is large and spacious with an abundance of room for everyone to have a comfortable stay. Inside the house was really clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like you were at home. The host was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor garden and veranda was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful & quiet. Didn't have time to play but you could play badminton. They even have rackets & net. Highly recommend this place that is located centrally in the heart of Colombo for those who seek quiet comfort with a luxury feel.
