The Albatross is love letter to golfing. All the decor is lovingly curated to speak to the golfer's soul. We had a beautiful room which offered breathtaking views of the scenery. You will be spoilt for choice with the extensive menu, and be prepared to find your clothes fitting a little more snugly because you will enjoy all the delicious meals. Special thanks to Mr Thilak and his team for being so attentive and for taking such good care of us. We felt completely at home at The Albatross!

Staying at Kandy Living Home Stay was one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Sri Lanka. The home itself is beautifully designed — clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable — with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the hosts are warm and welcoming, always ready to help or share insights about the area. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Chef Janith. He is not only a talented chef but also a wonderful teacher. With great patience and passion, he guided us through each step of preparing a traditional Sri Lankan meal, sharing stories, tips, and local knowledge along the way. The setup was perfect, and the food we created was absolutely delicious. I left Kandy Living not just with amazing memories, but with new cooking skills, a deeper appreciation for Sri Lankan culture, and the feeling of having been truly cared for. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy — it’s more than just a stay; it’s a full, heartfelt experience.

Everything was excellent, great villa, great team special thanks to.Mr. Nalin, for his always support, welcoming. You have to try the chief coking of Srilankan traditional food in breakfast and lunch. it's really delicious. Highly recommended for family. Great location, clean villa and good swimming pool. The owner is really nice, she will do everything to make your stay confortable, she used to prepare food and drinks for us. She gave us the possibility to use her kitchen and sometimes she buys some food for us to cook it. I've been traveling around asia for 8 months now, and this homestay was one my best. The location is 10 minutes walk from the main street, but the owner can help you to get a tuktuk easily. The room is really spacious and clean, the bed is really confortable. I came to stay just 1 night but I expected for 1 week I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Mountbatten Bungalows was perfect. We came at a full rest after touring Sri Lanka for about 2 weeks at the breathtaking (shaded ;-)) pool, in the beautiful garden and during the lovely diners/breakfast outside. The staff and management was very friendly and the chalets very comfortable.

    Just fabulous home away from home a lovely clean villa with the most fantastic view The caretaker Ramya and her husband were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay Will definitely be going back I had the most relaxing 3 days here and will stay longer next time The golf course is on your doorstep as is their restaurant but Ramya made us an excellent meal one of the nights
