Quiet but close to the city. Very well equipped, you have all what you need and even more. Caring host, which lives just across the street. I forgot some clothes and they sent it to me by train the same day. Incredible good service! Very good breakfast!

This place was absolutely amazing! A spacious house with three beautiful bedrooms, a stunning living room, and a lovely garden – all spotless, fresh, and perfectly maintained. I absolutely loved everything about this place! The location is perfect, surrounded by nature. The food prepared by the owner was delicious, and it made the experience even more special. The house and rooms were spotless and comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was available at all time we needed him. We felt like home❤️Grateful and lucky to have stayed here. Highly recommend!

We loved the out-of-the'way location. It was so peaceful, while the colonial bungalow was elegant, comfortable and spotless. Our host Petra was attentive and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed. Rani, the on-site housekeeper was delightful and ensured our day-to'day needs and comfort were taken care of... and her cooking was an exceptional introduction to Sri Lankan food. The whole experience was nothing short of perfect! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous. A villa immersed in nature, with a little river passing under the dining room - loved the relaxing sound. The staff is very kind and prepares delicious food, ingredients are fresh and everything is made with care. Overall, I definitely recommend it, especially if you are a group of 6-8 people to have the whole villa by yourself

The hospitality of the hosts was amazing. They collected our luggage on arrival and made sure everything in the room was ready. We were the only one staying in the whole property at the time of check-in so we got a VIP treatment. The chef is an amazing cook and the Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. The chef was really considerate of our food requirements and made sure the food was according to our taste. The property serves halal food.

Everything!!! It is just a beautiful spot and the place to be!!! It is definitely a 5star hotel. From panoramic views, delicious food and the staff is just amazing!! The rooms are really spacious. The shower is amazing with hot water!! I could stand in there for hours. There is airco, there is a fan. A minibar. Panoramic views of the mountains and at night you see all the lights from the city. It is just stunning. There is an infinity pool overlooking the mountains. And then the staff...Imalka is just so great. She makes sure that you will have a perfect stay. You can communicate with her through whatsapp and she helps you with every need. From transport to tours or just a nice little chat. She is perfect for the job!! I love her so much!! Also the chef Dahnuka makes sure your food is whatever you like. The cleaning lady Priyanka greets you every morning and make sure your room is as clean as it can be!! The place is not only beautiful but the staff makes it so much more amazing. Thank you to all of you for taking such care of me!! Do not doubt to go anywhere else. This is the place to stay!!!

    The owner Nihal met us at a point when we lost our way and Nilanthi, Nihal's wife met us at the villa and gave us a very warm welcome. Both Nilanthi and Nihal are excellent hosts as they provided us with everything we needed and always enquired of our needs. Nilanthi even helped me a great deal to organise a lunch party to my relatives. We parted as friends and we will definitely stay at Villa Kresilda on our next visit to Gampola. Loved the Garden and outdoor dining.
