One of the most beautiful locations in Srilanka. The terrace view is mind blowing. Hospitality was also fantastic. Mr. White is a wonderful host. He was kind and helpful. Took care of us very well. Highly recommend this place.

I absolutely loved everything about this place! The location is perfect, surrounded by nature. The food prepared by the owner was delicious, and it made the experience even more special. The house and rooms were spotless and comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was available at all time we needed him. We felt like home❤️Grateful and lucky to have stayed here. Highly recommend!

The house is very big, plenty of space to relax or spend time together, large bedrooms, each with own bathroom. Great location - very quiet, in the hills, not too far from Kandy. Host was very kind, reachable, proactive and helpful. We order food and it was the best dinner we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. We were delighted with this stay

The room and facilities here are amazing. The location is also a beautiful and peaceful spot in the middle of the rainforest. We had some car trouble here and the owner was extremely helpful and allowed us to wait at the hotel while he arranged help from trusted local businesses to get our car fixed. If they weren't fully booked we would have stayed longer.

The staff was very very attentive and kind. They helped us with everything. The landscape where the accommodation is located is beautiful. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious. We loved every moment of the 3 days we spent here.

Everything about Ama Recidency is wonderful. Our stay was really peaceful, quite and beautiful place , exactly what we needed after very long travel ! Amazing view, clean, reasonably decorated make us feel home, Hat off to wonderful Lady LALITHA!!! she is a brilliant host! She made sure everything was clean and tidy. especially with our toddelr it was important. everyone must try lalithas wonderful cooking , it was delicious, I took my leftover for the road. My son preferred her food over restaurant meal we had , I must say, lalitha is a great credit and adds value to this place. Whoever owns the place, they are very lucky to have her !! ❤️ thank you, Ama Recidency !! Surely come back again xxxx

Location is beautiful, althought not easy to get there.. The Staff was very helpful providing directions and also went down the hill to escort our car. There were a few problems with electrical equippment, but the Menager quickly fixed it on request. We enjoyed a little hike in the nearby woods. The place also has it's own little garden. Last but not least they served the Best fruit juices we've had in Sri Lanka :)

    The owner Nihal met us at a point when we lost our way and Nilanthi, Nihal's wife met us at the villa and gave us a very warm welcome. Both Nilanthi and Nihal are excellent hosts as they provided us with everything we needed and always enquired of our needs. Nilanthi even helped me a great deal to organise a lunch party to my relatives. We parted as friends and we will definitely stay at Villa Kresilda on our next visit to Gampola. Loved the Garden and outdoor dining.
