A wonderful place in the middle of nature. Access by car is difficult, but totally worth it. It was nice that a bigger Safari car was organized to meet us on the way. The manager (Gamini) is very accommodating and super friendly. We stayed Deluxe Bungalow - An incredibly specious villa. The whole area is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The property even has its own observation tower where you can enjoy the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. The food was delicious and wonderful. The BBQ bonfire dinner was very special and memorable. A perfect place to stay if you want to go on a Yala Safari. Safari offered by the hotel is a bit expensive, so consider different options if possible. All in all.. A nice place to stay in Sri Lanka for sure. Anu the host is a wonderful person. The safari we booked online was canceled in the morning and helped us more than we would ever expect from a host. I can highly recommend to book the tour in the hotel and not on fake park websites. (Yes yalasrilanka.lk is run by a private person)

Totally recommended! Great location, clean, cozy room (also has a fridge - not easy to find in Sri Lanka) and above all, kind, sweet and polite hosts!!!! The landlady woke up eraly in the morning (really early) before our safari just to prepare breakfast so that we have it with us!!! Totally worth staying in Amazon Cabanas!!

Friendly hosts and staffs, excellent food, the dinning area for dinner is nicely decorated. They have a garden to grow organic vegetables. Spare time to use the swimming pool, it is great. Last but not the least, the sunset tour was excellent, thank you for Siri’s company, he knows the area very much and show me a lot of interesting things. Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff super helpful. He showed us owls sleeping in the garden! And gave us advice where to go in the area. The house and garden are like a dream. Breakfast amazing. Sleeping here has been one of the experiences we are never going to forget. For good.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Blue Wild, rooms are beautiful and very clean. Pool was sensational, with a beautiful outlook. Staff are very attentive. We also booked a safari through Blue Wild and I’m pleased we did, our guide Kumara was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable, we were lucky to see 2 leopards (in the distance), elephants, the very rare bears, water buffalo, crocodiles, deer, monkeys and lots of birds - excellent experience!
