Location was fabulous 🤩 wonderful place, directly at the sea. I had also birthday during our stay and the hotel staff prepared a wonderful dinner right at the sea, with Prosecco and wonderful decoration (it was a surprise: they wrote “Happy Birthday” and my name with little stones - very accurate and with details) and a cake special for me (they need to buy it outside!) It was really a wonderful stay :-)

The villa is beautiful and very tastefully done. The location is excellent so is the food snd all the staff. As its a small villa with only 4 bedrooms it gave us a lot of privacy and a serene quietness which was just what we needed. Away from the usual 5 star resort crowds.

Very pleasant accommodation, in a quiet area a few minutes from the beautiful beach. You have the entire spacious upper floor of the villa with a terrace at your disposal. The couple Nimesha and Danushka who take care of you are very smiling, kind and helpful. Namisha will help you with everything you need. You come as a tourist and leave as a family member. Villa 42 is, in short a hidden gem. For anyone looking for comfort, privacy and wonderful hospitality they won't get any better than this lovely villa just half a mile or so from gorgeous (mostly empty) beaches and several decent restaurants (ask Siri for recommendations). Siri will provide his pampered guests with the best of breakfasts adapting tp personal taste (Sri Lankan style or to more western taste). Siri's well maintained swimming pool will be your refreshing reward after a few hours of Sri Lankan heat.
