The villa has 3 floors, one with a livingroom, kitchen, toilet and entry. The private garden has a pool which was really nice! We think it was much nicer than the pictures show. Comfortable bed in a room on the 2nd floor with excellent AC. It even has a large roof top area. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. They served great breakfast every morning inside the villa that was enjoyed in privacy. The villa is just acoss the small road from the beach, really close. There are no other places that we are aware of with closer proximity to the beach. There are quite a lot of small beach bars at this side of the beach which provide nice sun beds with or without coverage from the sun. Just a 5 min walk from Kaas is the main street with food stores. Hiriketiya beach is a 15 min walk over a hill. You can fint good surfing here. Bars and restaurant mainly close at midnight. Not a lot that is happening after this hour.

Fantastic Villa with beautiful and comfortable and clean rooms and garden. The owner gave us the best hospitality on our vaccation. He Arranged tuk tuks and made reservations to the best lankesic restaurant in town. The place had everything, a big fantastic pool for the kids, after surf close to the fantastic beach. A well equiped kitchen, easy to make breakfast. A quite and calm, private place where we could relax and spend our time in the best place in the south of sri lanka.

Little hidden gem! A beautiful place in the beach area of Tangalle. The photos are just as you will experience them. The owners were extremly helpful and kind, wherever you need they will do their best to provide. They can also arrange transport services. Highly recommended, you will upgrade your vacation by a thousand!!

We were initially hesitant to book Palm Serenity Villa due to the lack of reviews, but after staying here, we completely understand why – the guests before us had planned to stay a week and ended up staying for months! That’s how wonderful this place is. The villa is modern, spotless, and spacious, with a beautiful open-plan design, air-conditioned bedrooms, and everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, fridge, and even a washing machine. The fan-cooled living area opens onto a lovely outdoor space and private pool—a perfect spot to relax and listen to the many birds in the garden. We loved watching the kingfisher perched on the same post each morning, hearing peacocks in the distance, and seeing birds build nests right outside the house. It’s truly a nature lover’s paradise. The location is peaceful and tucked away, just off the main road. It’s around a 10–15-minute downhill walk to Tangalle, where you'll find plenty of restaurants, shops, and the beach. For the walk back (especially with groceries), we recommend a Tuk Tuk. If you turn right out of the villa, the walk is shorter and more pleasant. What really made the stay special was the hospitality of the housekeeper and her family, who kept everything spotless and even brought us fresh pineapple from their garden. They were kind, helpful, and available when needed. The owner, who is building another beautiful villa next door, was also great with communication before and during our stay. This villa felt like a true home away from home—quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by nature, yet close to everything. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly, highly recommended!

Great place to stay and super recommended. The staff is super nice, they speak perfect English. It’s super close to the beach but away enough to be quiet. We loved it and it’s the best place we have stayed in our trip in Sri Lanka

Really lovely little villa. Very clean throughout. Everything was new and working. The bed was comfortable. Lots of space and comfortable seating inside and nice shady seating area outside. Less than 10 mins walk to the beach. The owner was very helpful and communication was easy.

We stayed here for a week just the two of us, so it was so spacious and we had everything we needed in the villa. The villa is really clean and nicely decorated and we really felt at home. Dee & Pasindu were the MOST amazing hosts, literally going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They organised our scooter for the week, and when I mentioned my skirt broke at the local laundry they even got their aunty to fix it for me which was so kind. They also have an amazing restaurant called Pranaya in town where we had one of our favourite meals of the week! We had unseasonably bad weather while here so we were glad we had more space and the outdoor sofas to chill on rather than just booking a solo room. Would return in a heartbeat!
