Very accommodating hosts, family owned business. They helped us with our trip and instantly fixed any issue we had. They also prepared a breakfast for us when we went to the morning safari. Few bugs in the house, but not surprising, it's Sri Lanka after all. Host came and put some bug spray to fix the issue.

We really enjoyed our time at Richards Cabanas. The hosts made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. The grounds were a great place to relax after our safari, which they helped us organise and packed us a takeaway breakfast. The food was also amazing, especially the breakfast, which was the best we've had here so far. Would recommend Richards Cabanas!

The treehouse is a gem. Having built treehouses for my children and when I was a kid, this is my absolute dream come true. It is beyond anything I had imagined. Perched over the river it is solidly constructed with artistry and imagination. Saman, the host, has put so much love into the garden and treehouses, creating a tranquil and magical energy. He’s also an incredibly kind and welcoming host. You must come - it is truly special if you live nature.
