We can highly recommend Villa Island if you are looking for a good villa in quiet surroundings. You really get great value for money. The welcome was exceptional. Employee was waiting in the house when we arrived. Windows and doors were open, so the temperature was pleasant and there were fresh flowers. some food had been bought there, water and other necessities were in the fridge for the first day. Ani had even prepared a welcome dinner and set the table for us. As our journey to Mauritius had taken many hours, we were very grateful to be able to start the holiday relaxing. The house is in reality as the pictures show. Everything in the house worked as it should. WiFi is very fast. There is a table and 2 chairs on the terrace. There were extra towels and pool/beach towels. Cleaning was done during our stay. The house is located in an area where both locals and rental properties live. It is very quiet and the area is safe. The two shared swimming pools are cleaned. A car is an advantage in relation to shopping and excursions. Melville Public Beach is very nice. if you drive a little further and continue on the dirt road, it ends at a fine sandy beach. It is very beautiful and quiet here. Much of the time we were the only ones on the beach. Communication has been very good since we booked the house. Anaxi is very good at English and gave us the information we needed. I had a fantastic experience at this property. The place was spotless and impeccably clean. The comfort level was excellent, with cozy furnishings and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. Plus, the proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches is the cherry on top. What truly made the difference was the hospitality — the host was warm, attentive, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and professionalism made my visit truly memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. I will definitely be returning!
