Very cosy old house with tons of Norwegian charm surrounded by amazing nature in a quiet area that seems less crowded with tourism. The views from any direction of the house are just stunning. Perfect place to go and disconnect from reality, as the house is a bit away from the normal touristy paths of Lofoten. Good hiking trails nearby the house offering more lovely views and the company of reindeers on the hike. Close by is a little self-service supermarket with good selection of basic goods. The house was clean and had all the basic needs we needed and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had. On a 5 week roadtrip through Norway, this place and area still stands out as a favourite and we all wished we could have stayed forever!

It was a lovely cosy home. Wonderfully quiet, with a great deck outside to sit and soak in the mountains around us.

The cabin offered a very peaceful and pleasant environment for a holiday. The views were stunning, and the spacious terrace added to the comfort. The beds were excellent and plentiful, easily accommodating a larger group. The cabin had large windows, which made the space feel bright and open. The hosts, who live in the same yard, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They provided useful tips for hiking and fishing in the area. There were also chickens and a rooster in the yard, which added a nice countryside atmosphere, even though they weren't mentioned in advance. A delightful surprise was receiving fresh eggs, they were delicious. Having a private shoreline allowed for successful fishing, and we caught saithe and cod, among other things. The peaceful location, far from tourist crowds, made the experience truly special.

Modern, very clean but still very homely. Wonderful views over the inlet and just catching the midnight sun before it goes behind a mountain. We rented for 2 days but were so happy with the place extended an extra night while traveling through Lofoten. Even booked one more night on trip back. 100% satisfied!

Perfect location to explore Lofoten! The house is super cozy and quite despite the close location to the main road and the view is fantastic. Hermund is a super nice snd helpful host, it was good to meet him in person while there. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace which is spacious with comfortable chairs and table. Kitchen is well equipped. After a long and strenuous hike the bench in the bathroom was also much appreciated😄

The house was beautifully decorated, had many blankets, everything for basic cooking and a huge fridge. We were even able to see polar lights right outside of the window/in the front yard. Perfect location not too far away from all of the hikes that we were planning on doing and the airport.

Typical Norwegian house a few meters from the sea in a wonderful place. Ultra quiet location immersed in the nature. You can start stunning ski and trekking trips just a few hundred meters from the house. The house is fully and perfectly equipped with all that can be needed. Heating is electric but there is also a Norwegian wood stove. The owner is super kind, helpful and supporting for any need and request even if she lives in Tromso so all is done via messages. It's a pity non having known her personally. Super recommended!!!
