Tommy did his best to accommodate his guests. U could sense all lovely details in every corner of this authentic house(thank you for the Xmas deco!). We particularly enjoyed the outdoor wood-burning BBQ house, well equipped kitchen/sauna, music instruments such as piano and guitar(our kids love this!), nordic ski/snowshoes gear arrangement and plus the beautiful large-size woodburner in the house. These add extra charm during our stay. On top of that, this house is secluded in nature, surrounded by mountains/river and a lake. That was the main reason why we booked here. Every single day you just want to stay "home" to feel the nature and the absolute seclusion feeling. On the New Year's Eve, tsk to Tommy's suggestion, we celebrated the firework show together with the local folk from Finnsnes. On the new year day, we did a 3h power walk/hike through the river and woods with our snowshoes and ski. It was perfect to feel the day one of the year with this beautiful nature. Highly recommended.

I love all aspects of this cozy house. The pictures look nice but the house itself still surprised us upon entering. It you are couples or two friends looking for a place with a home-like vibe but hotel-like cleanness, I highly recommend it to you. Plus, we got to see aurora light here and it is just perfect.

If you're looking for nature, the sea, and peace for your holiday, you'll find it all here! The house is very clean. The facilities are great. You can go fishing, swimming, or look for seashells in the sea whenever you like — it's like having your own private beach. The views of the mountains are stunning. We also experienced a summer storm, which was both scary and beautiful at the same time. The owner of the house helped us access local services and was easy to reach. Here’s the English translation of your new sentence: One day, reindeer wandered into the yard, and we also met the house’s unofficial pet stoat.

The name of this place sums it up nicely. This is truly an extremely cozy house in a stunning location. You can watch the Northern Lights directly from the huge terrace (been there, done that!) or simply relax, lulled to sleep by the waves. Within a walking distance to Husøy. A great starting point for trips around Senja. Officially added to my list of favorite places on Earth! Thank you, Olivia, for your hospitality!

We have been to many places and we have never expected to find one of the warmest hospitality in cold Senja. Rigmorhuset is a lovely, cozy, spacy house with a beautiful view to the sea and fjords. It comfortably accommodates 6(+) people. The house has a spacious well-equipped kitchen with 2 coffee machines (espresso and filter coffee and coffee supply enough for 10 days), a spacious and clean bathroom equipped with new high class washing machine and dryer machine. Spacy and cozy living rooms with a big table for in-house dining and a chill-out corner with a beautiful view to the bey. The bedrooms are cozy and beds are very comfortable. We loved the house but what really made the difference and turned our stay into a (even more) pleasant surprise was the host – Camilla. This lady is one of a kind – a warm, customer-friendly host and a beautiful person! Despite the late check in hour, she help us find a charging solution for our e-car, brought us a big dish of freshly caught shrimps and a still hot freshly baked cake (delicious – you have to try it in her restaurant at the entrance of the village), when we invited her over for a coffee. A big plus to stay in Fjordgard (than other places in Senja) is that there is a great restaurant with a nice view and the best fish and chips (owned by Camilla and her family) and 24x7 self-service supermarket (no other shops work 24x7 incl Sundays) in Senja.
