Very spacious and comfy. It’s a real old school bach which is charming in itself. The fireplace was so warm and cosy and filled the place with a lovely homely feeling. The owners went out of their way to help us with storage of our luggage both before and after our stay which helped us incredibly. Great stay, would recommend to anyone.

Amazing communication from Jeremy, accommodated to every request we had and very pleasant, all while being super busy!! The home is beautiful and spacious, exceeded all expectations. Stunning area, lovely apartment, open fire, soft bed fresh home laid eggs and a friendly dog! Handy to Mt Hutt, Methven and the Rakaia Gorge, which we explored in the morning. Would be a good base for skiing in the winter.

It was really spacious and had everything we needed. The neighbourhood was lovely and quiet. With the snowfall and cold weather the fire was a bonus in keeping us cozy and warm and for drying our washing on the rack provided. It was very nice to arrive at 5pm on day one to find the fire set for a quick start to warming up the property. The beds were super comfy and the master ensuite shower was enormous with a rainfall shower head - wish we had one at home. All communication with the host was prompt and friendly. It was a great place to stay at.
