I loved absolutely everything! It is a real gem, do not hesitate to stay there. The whole villa, garden, tarrace, room and the bathroom are very clean, well taken care of and there is a very pleasant scent inside. The room is great to rest after the whole day of exploring beautiful La Digue, it is very quiet and the bed is super comfortable. Sheryl who works there, welcomed me very kindly with a tasty fruit welcome drink. The breakfast was sooo delicious, nutritious and served on the tarrace just outside of my room, it was such a good way to start a day. The location is just perfect- it is peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature by yet very close to everything and there is a shop nearby. And Elna's food tastes so good! It is local, fresh and aromatic. I am truly thankful for all the hospitality and kindness, especially with the help and support of Elna on my last day- I had an accident on the bike and got injured so I could barely walk; when the car brought me from the hospital Elna offered her shoulder to help me to get back to the room, then brought ice, bandage and ointment. She also gave me a few bottles of water, as I was not able to make it to the shop that night and the next day and offered some of her amazing sea food curry complimentary. And she offered me a late check-out so I could stay in the room until the time of my ferry back to Mahè and arrange a transportation to the port. It is really exceptional place with exceptional staff. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to La Digue.

This is a very nice and spacious house on a perfect location in La Digue! The Shabby Chic Style makes it very welcoming and we enjoyed the nice veranda a lot! My young daughter got sick and I have to thank to the whole ambiance villa team that they helped us a lot with this uncomfortable situation :-)! Special thanks to Jeniffer and Kevin - you guys are awsome!

The villa was spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Marva and Hyacinth were excellent, flexible hosts. Location is also good, by bike village center is very close (even without bike, on foot).

The Villa is beautiful, with a big nice garden, porch and terrace on the first floor. The position is also perfect, close to the famous Anse Source D'Argent and away from the noisier main street. You need a bike to move around, like every other place in la Digue. Arranging bikes is not a problem in la Digue, you do not to do this in advance, nor you need to book a taxi. We rented good bikes at the ferry port upon arrival and they took our luggage to the villa for free. The villa is also very well equipped. Some food essential were provided (salt, sugar, water, oil, coconut water). Samantha and Hannse took good care of us, were always available and gave us useful suggestions/tips.

That chalet feels homey. It's a rare feature. I guess it's the disposition of the rooms, or maybe some pieces of art that lift the place, or that step in front of the house (the house is build on a base) where you can sit and feel like the whole house is behind you. Maybe the bar that separates the kitchen, or the low couch on the right. The beautiful garden, the outside shower just where it should be. Whichever, it was felt like a home. And the owner, Selby, is a poet :-).

We had an amazing stay at Emerald Villa on La Digue! Barbara, our host, was absolutely wonderful—such a kind and helpful person. She prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners that were truly unforgettable. She went above and beyond to assist us with everything, from organizing excursions to arranging bike rentals. The staff were excellent. Location is good unless you want to be on the beach. Very close to the ferry port and main shops. Apartment was clean and well equiped. Not the most flash place to stay but very functional and had all you need.

    Ok size villas. Close to a nice beach where you can snorkle and get some drinks and lunch. Free bottle water in the villas. Walking distance to restaurants. To the left of the harbour which has the best vibe in my view.

    Excellent villas. Anse Severe beach is right out the front door, the town is a short walk or a quick bike ride. We felt extremely comfortable and safe here. The porch is large and great for waking ip or winding down after a day of exploring La Digue. Big thanks to the host and staff for making everything convenient with transfers to and from the jetty, solid bicycles, and free water in the rooms (no need to stock up on bottled water!)
