The location was close to my nephew, who was my real host and my ride for the three days I was there to visit cousins from the midwest in addition to the nephew and his spouse. The beauty and size of the living area/dining area and the GORGEOUS kitchen were the first things you see upon entering. My first thought was, "Oh, yes; this was the PERFECT choice!" The lovely garden and fountain with eating and lounging areas also helped set the table for a great experience!! The back-of-the-property privacy was also a plus, and the laundry room was next to the barn--I almost wished I had been there long enough to need it! And Gigi, the property manager and "host" was wonderful. I feel that I have a new friend. The owner was so generous with her decorating and special "things" throughout the property--she made you feel welcomed into her "home." It's in the heart of a wine-country area and was a perfect getaway from the big city. I didn't need A/C at night; there were two fans provided, which I used to usher the night's coolness through the comfortable bedroom.
