We enjoyed spending time at the Hacienda together with his super cute dogs, swimming in the pool, doing close by hikes and just enjoying the calm of the surrounding nature. Its also a great place for a visit to Manuel Antonio and to avoid staying at the crowded places next to the nationalpark. We can only recommend to stay at the Hacienda and hope to be able to visit this special place again in the future! Thanks Markus for having us!

Less than 1 km from Carmen Beach, The Green House, Santa Teresa - Adults Only is a recently renovated property situated in Santa Teresa Beach and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Concierge Josefina was incredibly helpful with any questions we had and to help with bookings. The villa is such a peaceful place, so close to the Santa Teresa Main Street (5min drive, 15 min walk) yet you feel like you’re in the jungle. We had a couple of monkeys visit the trees outside our balcony and saw loads of birds, including hummingbirds right by the pool. Yes the road is steep to get there (like many in CR!) but totally fine if you have a powerful enough car. We had a big 4wd for our whole trip but I think an ATV would be the easiest option. We also walked it which was sweaty but fine… although wear grippy shoes as I slipped going downhill on the loose gravel (and so a few other people slip too!)
