The view is stunning, and I loved the low-lying fog in the morning while sipping tea and dunking my Welsh cakes. Everything felt very clean, and the bedding smelled fresh. There’s no WiFi, so try to unplug and stay off your phone—though I didn’t do the best job of that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated them accommodating me with an extra 30 minutes. I 100% recommend it. My only regret is not staying longer.

Very comfortable and clean with everything you could need available. Very comfy sleep and lovely and warm. Beautiful Welsh cakes were left for us also. Situated right in the town with no need to drive anywhere and really close access to the beach, great to have the free parking pass for the car park too (Thank you) Trevor the host is very helpful and keeps you informed about everything. Can't wait for our next visit and definitely recommend!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Upper Gelli Luxury Holiday Lodge, Converted Dairy & Cosy Shepherds Huts is a holiday home set in a historic building in Welshpool, 19 km from Dolforwyn Castle. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can use the sauna and the hot tub, or enjoy garden views. The entire property was lovely, quiet and relaxing. The views were beautiful. Both the sauna and hot tub were of high quality. The property was also within 20mins of various farm shops and attractions. The host was very welcoming and attentive. We received a very detailed welcome pack with map pins for local points of interest and farm shops.

Rustic, quiet and a great view from inside. Friendly host and again, it was peaceful there.

Tucked away in the little village of dinas mawddwy. We were greeted by the host as I couldn't find the property, even with her directions. Were shown around their property, and left to enjoy our stay. Although I had no children with me on this occasion, the bedroom with the bunk beds was well equipped to keep kids entertained with beautiful classic books, Lego and puzzles

Very helpful host, collected food for us to cook (which mercifully saved us having to carry it). Great kitchen. Lovely beds. Atmospheric among the disused lead mines, set in little visited but stunning countryside.

We opened the doors to wonderful old world charm, it was roomy, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, upstairs we found a king size bed which was luscious. In the kitchen we found these wonderful surprises, a beautiful cob loaf, some Welsh cookies, jams and butters which were absolutely delicious and a number of small packets of cereals and in the fridge a bottle of milk and a large carton of orange juice . A warm heater in the lounge which looked like an open fire added to the lovely ambiance. In the the backyard we discovered another wonderful surprise, including a well equipped laundry room. So fellow travelers if you wanting to stay in Llandovery I REALLY SUGGEST YOU STAY HERE, we stayed for 3 days and wished we had booked a week, finally the price was very reasonable. thank you so much to our lovely hosts, from we travelers from Australia.
