The staff was really nice! Especially in the restaurant, and Tali our Tubing guide!! It was beautifully set on the river with a place to swim. The restaurant dit not have a lot of options, but the selection they had was broad and the food was really very good! The power in the village went out a few times, but they have a generator in the restaurant, so that is great!

The location is an easy walk to the Parque Central of Cobán. Interior of the hotel is very nice, built in a colonial Spanish villa style with an interior, well cared for, garden. Rooms are somewhat small, but nicely appointed. Hotel has it's own secure parking (a great plus anywhere in Guatemala, and particularly in Cobán)

This hotel is a piece of heaven in the middle of a village near Cobán. The rooms are spacious, decorated exquisitely with local textiles and beds are dressed with premium linen. The property is massive! I loved the open plan gym, the pool and visiting the deers. The restaurant is delicious and staff are always willing to help. Be curious about local context and Guatemalan history. That will give you a clue about why there is a German flag at the front of the property.

Simple, but clean hotel. Remember that you are in a remote village. Some people mentioned a damp smell, but that wasn’t the case in my room. Good food in the restaurant and lovely restaurant staff. Also views are nice

It's located in Lanquin, there's not much to do in the village but there are a couple restaurants and markets only a few minutes from the Hotel. This is the main benefit of staying here than in the hostels around.

Lovely home stay. David the son of the house was very welcoming and was our guide to bring us around Semuc Champey. Had the luxury of a double bed to myself and was very comfortable and well priced. Food cooked there was delicious!! Family were so kind and helpful. Booked shuttle to Flores here too.

We liked the villas and found them to be spacious and clean. We picked a room without A/C, but had a fan. The hostel seems to have a social vibe which was nice.
