The family who owns this really sweet little place are kind, compassionate at what they are closing and go above and beyond to make everyone really nice. We were delayed I leaving by out taxi and Ashley made us delicious lemon, mint and ginger drinks. So refreshing and kind! The room was very comfortable, but we did hear prayers over a loud speaker at about 6:00 am. We were awake as we had come in on an all night flight. Other than that it was truly a wonderful stay. I especially loved her breakfast dosas and chai tea. We also loved that it was so close to the airport (TRV) and not far from shopping. We will most likely stay here again when we pass through. Located in Chekadi and only a few steps from Kuruvadweep, Kalidasa Tree House and Villa, Wayanad provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The villa features family rooms. We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

The place is beautiful, and the location offers incredible panoramic views. However, the real highlight was exceptional hospitality provided by the owner and the wonderful caretaker. They were so attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about our well being. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and memorable getaway. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
