The house is amazing, is super big and stylish, it preserves the authentic old japanese style and the host is super helpful and attentive.

Nestled in the beautiful nature in Hakuba, Big Bear Chalets & Apartments offers well-appointed accommodation fitted with kitchen facilities and an en suite bathroom. Chalets are made with natural timbers, and apartments feature modern designs. They are situated in different locations in Hakuba. Free Wi-Fi is available, and shuttle services from JR Hakuba Station and to ski resorts and supermarkets are provided. Spacious, right across the road from ski hire, around resturants and very comfortable bed. It is equipped with a full kitchen.

Guests have a choice to stay in a cosy wooden cottage or a Japanese-style apartment. Each accommodation boasts nature or mountain views, a well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. A flat-screen TV, a DVD player and toiletries are provided. We had lots of helpful communication from Tetsu before leaving Australia about how to travel from Haneda to Hakuba. The cottage was very cozy and clean. The beds were comfy. The location was great as we could walk into Echoland main street in 5 mins to bus stops for skiing and restaurants/ rental shops etc. Reception was super helpful and friendly if we needed any information/taxi booking for the onsen spa etc.

Dancru Netz hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort and the Hakuba Saegusa Museum. Hakuba Station is 12 minutes away by car, and the Hakuba 47 Mountain Sports Park can be found less than a 30-minute drive away. Breakfast was amazing, facilities are spacious, including the drying room. Hosts were lovely, helpful, and very accommodating.
