Situated in Kandy, within 4.4 km of Kandy City Center Shopping Mall and 4.5 km of Kandy Museum, Kandy Living Homestay features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is 14 km away and Udawatta Kele Sanctuary is 5.4 km from the villa. One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! An absolutely incredible guesthouse with the most lovely hosts, and crazy good value for money. We had a beautifully decorated room, and there were several hangout spots both indoors and outdoors that you were welcome to spend time in. The breakfasts/dinners are served al fresco under a pergola overlooking the valley with rice paddies and beautiful birdsong. One of the absolute highlights was the free cooking class to make your dinner - we made 4-5 different curries with our rice and curry order, with the most delightful chef patiently waiting for us to weakly shred fresh coconut to make sambal!! About a 10-15 min tuktuk ride into town for an explore, which was very reasonably priced. I'm so glad we stayed here a bit away from the centre of town rather than in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The hosts are also so welcoming and lovely, and speak excellent English. They also helped organise transport for us to Nuwara Eliya to our next stay. This was a genuinely edenic experience and we would absolutely come stay here again on a future visit to Sri Lanka.

The house standard is higher than in any other location we've stayed in Sri Lanka. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The house is very well-maintained. The food was wonderful, service great. We had a very relaxing stay. It's a great base for exploring the region.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Pearl's Homestay Matale is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I loved everything, especially the owners, Pearl and Ranjan. They treated us like their own children—they are truly wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious; Pearl is an amazing cook, and Ranjan joined us for a walk around the area. If we ever return to Matale, this will undoubtedly be our stop again. Thank you for everything. Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 9.2 km from the holiday home, while Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is 11 km from the property. Victoria Reservoir Kandy Seaplane Base Airport is 20 km away. Great owner! Comfortable bed, big and bright room. Hot water, good pressure, very clean. Complimentary tea. Kettle, glasses and water in the room. One of the best rooms we had in Sri Lanka! It might be tricky to find it but the view from the window is worth it.

Situated near Pidurangala Rock and Sigiriya Museum, Roo Mansala Boutique Villas is in Sigiriya and features free private parking and a restaurant. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 3 km from Sigiriya Rock. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. It is a pretty short drive to Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock. The rooms are large, beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and all the food was excellent. There is a lovely observation deck where you can watch the sunrise, play cards and relax with a cup of tea. There is a beautiful view of both Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock from the observation deck, and this was a highlight for us. Everyone working at the hotel is very kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again!

The area is popular for fishing and hiking, in addition, bike hire and car hire are available at this villa. I recently stayed at Anushka Nera Nature House, and it was an excellent experience. The guest house has a charming, cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. They have a peaceful environment, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The highlight of my stay, however, was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. They gave great recommendations for local attractions and even helped arrange transportation when I needed it. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Anushka Nera Nature House to anyone looking for a welcoming and peaceful place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Hotel Hideaway Garage is a recently renovated villa located in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The villa provides parking on-site, an outdoor swimming pool and a 24-hour front desk. Very close to the town centre but totally quiet, behind a beautiful lake, excellent location, a real hideaway rest house ✌️

Located near Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya and Sigiriya Museum, Sigiri Dilu Villa is in Sigiriya and provides free private parking and a restaurant. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Magnificent treatment, super clean, good location. The hotel owner was really helpful and friendly at all times. Another advantage was that there were bikes available for renting. We had the best experience biking around Sigiriya and Pirindugala, watching the temples and wonderful views from the lake. 1000% recommended!

The villa is 3.8 km away from Kandy Railway Station. You can also check out Ceylon Tea Museum, 1.8 km away and Kandy's Royal Botanical Gardens, 3 km way. Bandaranaike International Airport is located 81 km from the property. Fabulous little piece of history we stayed in an enormous room Rose. Pristine gardens, infinity pool, that was very cold, but with views to die for... The staff were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was great we only had dinner once and it was also nice. The bungalows are up in the mountains it's a 20 mins tuk tuk drive down to Kandy. So it's good to plan day trips down and stay the whole day if you don't want to be travelling up and down. Beautiful hotel highly recommended if you don't mind paying a little extra.
