The hotel is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. It is a pretty short drive to Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock. The rooms are large, beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and all the food was excellent. There is a lovely observation deck where you can watch the sunrise, play cards and relax with a cup of tea. There is a beautiful view of both Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock from the observation deck, and this was a highlight for us. Everyone working at the hotel is very kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again!

We were warmly greeted with welcome drinks upon arrival, which was a wonderful touch. The room was nice and tidy, and the bathroom was extra large and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and since we were there during the Sri Lankan New Year, we were also treated to local sweets alongside the breakfast — such a special experience! The villa is within walking distance to several restaurants, making it very convenient. Harini herself is a sweet and caring young host, always smiling and doing everything possible to make our stay extra comfortable. Thank you so much for everything — we truly felt at home!

The guest house has a charming, cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. They have a peaceful environment, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The highlight of my stay, however, was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. They gave great recommendations for local attractions and even helped arrange transportation when I needed it. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Anushka Nera Nature House to anyone looking for a welcoming and peaceful place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!
