Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The holiday home offers garden views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

Located directly on the beach and our room was immaculate and beautiful. They prepared an amazing dinner for us on property just for our group of six. Would definitely return.

A recently renovated villa located in Deniyaya, Sinharaja Vini Villa features a garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The villa provides river views, an outdoor pool and a 24-hour front desk. Vinis family was absolutely friendly and helpful. Very good home made food. Vini is excellent ranger and guide. Nothing fancy, but excellent base for walks in sinharaja.

I enjoyed my stay at this amazing boutique hotel to the max! The reception and service staff were extraordinarily kind and attentive. The seafood platter (special thanks to Chef Gershan for preparing a seafood platter for me!) will be unforgettable. Staying so close to the seaside had a unique charm and the seawater scent was mesmerizing. The villa was beautifully decorated and the room was spotlessly clean and cosy. Thank you for this magnificent stay, I will surely be back!

The rooms are completely new, very stylishly furnished and can only be recommended. ☺️ The hosts were also very friendly and the breakfast was very varied and tasty.

The owner, Kasun, is such a kind and humble host—always ready to help with anything. The villas are brand new and have everything you need: quiet air conditioning, excellent bathroom facilities, and even a private mini pool, which was perfect for cooling off after a beach day or workout. There are also smaller rooms available if you prefer. Kasun arranged a scooter for us and a tuk-tuk for our departure, making everything super easy. They also organize river tours, which is a great extra touch. Breakfast was included, and every day we got to choose from a menu. We already miss the banana pancakes and chocolate-banana roti—so delicious! Kasun even helped with surprising my boyfriend for his birthday during breakfast and even got him a gift—such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate—just book your stay at Kingsman Villa!
