The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. This is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka! The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious passionfruit juice which we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. It’s so peaceful here, and you can see peacocks and varan lizards roaming around. The cabana is really nice and comfortable. The bed is comfy and the AC works. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was clean. There is even a fridge in the room which was handy. We also did our safari through them and Gayan was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! Breakfast is also great. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here!

Perched over the river it is solidly constructed with artistry and imagination. Saman, the host, has put so much love into the garden and treehouses, creating a tranquil and magical energy. He’s also an incredibly kind and welcoming host. You must come - it is truly special if you live nature.
