A perfect home away from home for spending a week or two close to popular ski resorts. The place is just 20 minutes commute from Trysil and just a bit longer from Salen. Very easy to communicate with the host, obtain and return the keys. A spotless place with an abundance of kitchen cutlery and utensils. The fireplace was a great bonus, and a starter pack of wood was kindly provided by the host too. We will seriously consider it again for skiing in Trysil or Salen soon.

Interior is just beautiful, super clean, lots of helpful bits and pieces in the kitchen to use. Host was very prompt at replying to queries. 10/10!

The spacious holiday home is located on the ground floor and has 6 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. What a beautiful place to stay in!! Its a stunning wood log cabin giving a rustic look on the outside. On the inside, it is very tastefully done with attention to every small detail. All the appliances, fittings, crockery and utencils are top quality and very thoughtfully selected. The views of the hills from the huge dining table and the living room are really relaxing and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. There were enough rooms and beds to comfortably sleep 12 people without resorting to cramming people in bunk beds. The car park is just infront of the main door. Overall, I've been using booking.com for about 20 years and stayed in about 350 different places and this has to be the best stay I've had. This place deserves a 12 out of 10 if it was possible.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Nice place with all needed comfort. Two almost separate units in one. On of them very modern and the othe typical "Norwegian Cottage" feeling.

We were there near the beginning of April and were an ideal distance from touristy attractions and the ski resort but also nicely located so as to enjoy peace and quiet in the mountains with our family. Would definitely recommend it to others and hope to return!
