Hotels near Land's End Airport - LEQ, St. Just

St Just remains an interesting little town in a fascinating part of the country - I lived there for 5 years or so some years ago so know the area well. The town has a mixture of shops and eateries and it was never short of pubs and places to stay. For me the coastline remains the best in the country - the dramatic views over Botallack mines and over Cape Cornwall are unmatched in my humble opinion. The area is also an absolute goldmine for Ancient Sites boasting several stone circles, quoits and two iron age villages. Obviously the coast path passes nearby but there are many other interesting walks. It's also an easy drive to Penzance and Sennen Beach/Land's End and a very scenic one to St Ives - the latter you can do on an open topped bus

Lovely and peaceful ending point for a walk from Land's End (in fact a lot further South), pretty to walk around in the evening, and a good base to go walking around Men-an-Tor and to visit Geevor Tin Mine and other nearby sites such as Cape Cornwall, Pendeen Lighthouse and the Last Inn in England.

Just an amazing location. Shame we didn't have longer as there is plenty to do around the area if you are happy with walking and being outdoors. We were there to see Russell Brand at the Minnack theatre and it was a short drive away so worked perfectly. The Lands End hotel is really well maintained for a coastal property and the staff were also local which made it even better. Lovely place to stay, highly recommended. The food wasn't the best in the world so I would eat elsewhere but it can always improve so may be worth trying another time. Photos uploaded were from the Land's End hotel and the immediate area.

St. Just was easy to maneuver around in by foot and for a small town had some good restaurants serving locally sourced food. The hiking was spectacular, but allow yourself longer time than the locals tell you as there are many side paths and you need time to enjoy the views!

Thé house owner was very helpful. We had used the key code we were given but moved Into the wrong property. I really liked the small flat but we had actually booked the bigger house. Geoff was very helpful when he realised what had happened, and said that he had the place cleaned again and got us to move properties two days later. We also needed some loo rolls and a tea towel which were provided as soon as we asked. He also helped by suggesting a place to eat as the ones at the Cove were not taking bookings from non residents. But the First and Last pub at Sennen was great. No booking necessary and good food. The Cove was excellent - sand as well as rocks and great for swimming. But a very very steep way down

Sennen is an amazing place to visit and stay. It was a lovely walkdown to the beach and Cove and there was plenty to do there. We were within easy distance of plenty of activities and local attractions. The scenery was breathtaking and the sunset were fantastic. A truly beautiful place to visit.
