Located in Carlisle, The Halston Carlisle offers stylish self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access throughout. The staff were so helpful. They looked after our bags, gave us directions to the sights and had time for a chat. The place was immaculate and the food was plentiful.

The Quaysiders Club is located on the shore of Lake Windermere at Waterhead, which is a short walk from the village of Ambleside. Waterhead has several bars, restaurants and cafés. They left the keys and instructions in a safer box outside of the building because I arrived too late

Beautifully appointed house in a quiet part of Ulverston. Very close to the shops and for countryside walks. The house was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Diana, the host, was very helpful and welcoming.
