Very close to the centre but had no trouble with sound. The staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bags after checkout as we had a train later that day. Had no faults with cleanliness or the location. We were lucky enough to be the “guest of the day” which was lovely to know and got ourselves a complimentary drink and some treats in the room. Overall chuffed to bits with the room and the staff :)

The deposit of 400 pounds seemed to be a lot but It was refunded to my card within 2 days .

Beautifully appointed room, warm and comfortable. Sparkling clean bathroom. Lovely view of the garden. Great location, close to shops, buses and the town centre. Room is inside a house which is actually on Lea Rd, very close to McDonalds googlemaps had a problem finding it.
