What a lovely place - well appointed, spacious and adjoining a great pub. We were walking Hadrian's Wall and the location couldn't be better. The owners were very hospitable - even to the extent of offering to drive me back to Haltwhistle to retrieve my car! Highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable, historic Bothy with every need anticipated and provided. Quiet place, really comfortable bed, great shower, delicious coffee/tea and breakfast, plenty of maps and travel details shared so we knew exactly where we were headed when visiting local sights. Parking included.

The location was good near to a main road but with nice walks on the doorstep and plenty of tourist sites to explore along Hadrian's Wall. The apartment and kitchen were well equipped and in good order.

Breakfast items and Prosecco were a lovely touch, thank you. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return to this little place of pure bliss.

They have created a great outdoor deck from which to enjoy the river. They have thought through every detail of your stay—welcoming you with wine and the makings of a great breakfast. The breakfast and extras were very good and there are numerous touches that make this place unique and very special.
