Beautiful well equipped spotless appartment. Just a short walk to restaurants, shops and bars. Lovely scenic view from window. Very quiet area and beautiful walks around. Claire the owner, a lovely lady met us on arrival and was so informative and helpful. Will definitely be returning!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment It was very comfortable, sparkling clean and well equipped. We loved the themed decor and the log burning stove. The apartment is in the town centre so it is easy to get to shops, eateries and the beach. Highly recommend if you are visiting Berwick. Thanks too for the prosecco - a great surprise and the perfect start to our mini break.

We had a lovely time here great for experiencing Northumberland and the historic town .. We enjoyed Spittal Beach and Holy Island from here. The apartment had everything you needed, and a bottle of procecco on arrival was a lovely surprise. There are plenty of restraunts in the area and takeaways, so there is no need to go hungry. And some great walks. Parking its a 24hr then you have to move for 4hrs as we went out everyday this wasn't an issue, and there was always somewhere to park when we returned ...If you didn't wish to move you could park at another car park not to far away and then return it later which was also fine.

The apartment is large and allowed the four of us to have our bedrooms. The ensuite toilet and the second toilet are a good attraction as our brain damaged daughter requires the toilet often. The front room has a great seating area and extends to the open kitchen area. The tv was as explained. The Wi-Fi was easily obtained. West Lodge appears to have been a gate house for Paxton House, a Georgian mansion immediately opposite. The Lodge has been converted and extended and is now, essentially, a modern apartment. It's very comfortable, well equipped with modern appliances, wi-fi etc, and when we arrived it was immaculately clean. We enjoyed our stay and if we come this way again we'd certainly book West Lodge again.

The “wow” factor definitely was the beautiful views from the lounge bay window! The flat was very homely, older furniture, but for type of flat it was, it was well suited. Hostess Liz was really helpful and was in touch with us while we were travelling down. Any problems Liz picked up her phone and dealt with any queries immediately. Bed linen and towels were available for us.
