Set in Rothes and only 17 km from Elgin Cathedral, 4 Stills Apartment offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is the first place in The UK that I could easily say I felt at home. The apartment is fully equipped with all that you might wish. Offering a garden and garden view, Emahroo Cullen is situated in Cullen, 34 km from Huntly Castle and 38 km from Delgatie Castle. This is a return stay to Emahroo and we are already booked up for another. I think this speaks to the quality of not just the property (which is stunning) but also the communication with the host and her lovely little touches. The location is central to this lovely village, near the beach, across the road is a chipper and there is a couple of cracking pubs within stumbling distance. The apartment has a clean, classic decor with a lovely open fire and well appointment kitchen. The beds are so comfortable. We didn't take our dog this time but that's because it was our mini-moon and we wanted to lie-in!

Offering free WiFi and city views, Stoney Hideaway is an accommodation set in Stonehaven, just 200 metres from Carron Beach and 600 metres from Cowie Beach. This was the best place we stayed during our trip to Scotland. There are two very lovely and comfortable bedrooms, a great lounge area with comfy sofas and TV, a sweet little well-equipped kitchen and a clean, up-to-date bath. The location is incredible -- just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and parking. You can even walk to the AMAZING Dunnottar Castle if you're up for a 1.5 mile hike. The apartment is so beautifully decorated that I felt happy every time we came back to it. The owners communicated with us almost instantly when we had questions. I was really sad to leave. Very highly recommended.

The Old Chemist is set in Cullen. The accommodation is 30 km from Elgin. This apartment is equipped with a living room and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave. Delightful, cosy, well presented charming little house, comfortable bed and great facilities. Well situated within the village.

Tighnabruaich Annex offers accommodation in Lossiemouth, 8 km from Elgin. The property is 37 km from Nairn and free private parking is provided. Free WiFi is available . John was very hospitable and a pleasure to meet. And the fact that he stocked the fridge and pantry before we got there was a very pleasant surprise!

Morris Gardens Apartments is set in Oldmeldrum, 28 km from Beach Ballroom, 23 km from Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club, and 26 km from Hilton Community Centre. Great location to explore the surrounding countryside, in town but so quiet. Very comfortable beds and lovely shower.
