The room was comfy and cosy, looked exactly like the photos, good parking facilities, really quiet and peaceful. Given the prices of the other hotels in the area around Newton hall this was great value for money

Breakfast was really good. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Our room was really large, free upgrade to D'Arcy suite, ample room for us and our pet dog. Clean and spacious and everything we needed.

We could not fault our reception on arrival by the Paul and Donna and they did everything to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served in a lovely cottage atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

There was local produce, bacon and/or sausage stottie, granola, fresh fruit and warm pastries with home made jam. Nespresso coffee machine and tea making with fresh milk in the room plus some sweet treats. The room has a fridge. Richard and Sandra are very hospitable and friendly people with lots of information about things to do and places to eat locally.
