An absolute gem. Beautiful house with beautiful art - a comfortable living room to read a book in, a gorgeous dining room to enjoy breakfast in, and a beautiful bedroom with exceptionally comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing and the owners took care to accommodate my gluten free needs. The couple that owns the house is a delight to interact with and our overall experience allowed us to get a glimpse into English life while exploring nearby countryside and towns. We had originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying 2 (would have stayed longer if there was availability). The house is also in a great location for both city exploration and nearby towns, castles and gardens.

Tracey made me feel so very welcome. The room was spotless and the breakfast exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile and "your welcome". This was a really exceptional stay and I really enjoyed my weekend. I will return just as soon as time allows. I would heartily recommend this to anyone seeking the absolute best that Hastings can offer.
