Great place to discover the coast between Durness and Ullapool. The owner is a lovely lady taking great care of her guests. The house is right on the water. We even had the lucky visit of a deer in the evening. Just book it, with no hesitation. You won't regret it.

The location is ideal. It's secluded enough to give you a real feeling of peace and quite but at the same time is only a ten minute drive from Lochinver where the shops, cafes and restaurants are. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful. Even the highland cows are friendly when you sit outside for a coffee! It's well worth having a wander around the small peninsula where the B&B is situated, we found a lovely peaceful little cove where you can sit and read a book listening to the waves lap up onto the shore - pure bliss!

Everything was absolutely perfect for our short stay at this beautiful property. Irene and David were the perfect hosts in every way. would highly recommend it if you are planning a stay in Lochinver. Irene had arranged a reservation at Peete’s for us prior to our arrival which was greatly appreciated and the food was excellent.

Dave and Caren were amazing hosts. Made everything easy. The rooms were extremely clear, well equipped. To be honest it felt more like a 4-5 star Hotel. The food was excellent and honestly so friendly and took care of all your needs. A fridge, coffee, tea. Every amenity in the room and more. Honestly I couldn't say anything negative about the place. They truly work hard for you happiness and succeed!

We had a great stay at the Albannach. The host is very hospitable and helpful. The suite was fantastic, comfortable, and very spacious. What stands out is the lovely home-cooked breakfast we were served every morning. Absolutely brilliant. We were sorry to leave after 2 nights as there are so many things to explore in the area as well.
