Excellent location in Moreton-in-Marsh close to transport connections. While I didn't get to meet the host, Tim, remote contact was excellent and my arrival earlier than the standard check in time was kindly accommodated even with the added complication of my train being delayed. Due to a private function in the downstairs restaurant the night I arrived, I was upgraded to the loft room to minimise disturbance from any noise which was very considerate. The loft room is very spacious and comfortable. The room had a small fridge which I appreciated for self catering breakfast.

You can get a nice English breakfast anywhere in the Cotswolds, but this is just a notch better than the usual, i.e. with fresh avocados, rather than canned ones. They are also a true Gastropub with friendly and competent service. We had a gourmet dinner with excellent menu choices, and they had no problems accommodating a table of seven in a timely manner. Centrally located in the Cotswolds with a perfect view over the landscape in the front rooms and a quiet garden in the back. All rooms (we rented all 5 of the rooms) with all the comforts and amenities you might want and impeccably clean. Plenty of parking!

Beautiful room, sorry can't remember the room number but it was in the loft, upstairs. Great host, thanks John, we had a blast! It's location is close to the Train Station, great for getting around.

The room and ensuite facilities were lovely. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were ever so helpful friendly and nice.

The site is exceptionally well kept; the gardens are wonderful, and the building, made of local stone, is beautiful. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was great as well. What a wonderful introduction to the Cotswolds! Stow-on-the-Wold is a conveniently central place to base your explorations in the area. This old market town has a range of shops to check, before visiting other iconic places nearby.

Beautifully clean and warm room. Very quiet. Fantastic hosts and extremely friendly. Beautiful home cooked breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay in a fabulous location.
