This is an unexpected gem! Mark and Sabine were excellent hosts. You can tell they have put so much love and energy into their B&B. The room was impeccable, with lots of thoughtful touches. The bathroom has been renovated to an excellent standard, with some unique features and gorgeous tiles. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice, including for veggies/vegans. We couldn't recommend Moortown Lodge enough.

What a beautiful place to stay! Dolly is cozy and well equipped. Everything we needed was there. Dolly was very clean and we slept comfortably in the cosy bed. The little seating area outside was an ideal place to eat our breakfast or have a coffee after a day out. Martine and Ivor were extremely friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Martine for the lovely breakfast hampers, all the advice for places to go and places to eat and the nice chats we've had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

I loved this place. Highly recommend it. A boutique style venue. We had a lovely dinner that night and the breakfast was amazing. Where else can you stay and horses are wandering around. What an experience.

Amazingly authentic property reflective of “Olde England”. The innkeepers, Alice and Andrew, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and accommodate our complicated flight logistics. Breakfast was superb and plentiful.

Good sized room with enough space for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) to be comfortable. Staff very helpful and communication before arrival spot on. Very quiet location in the forest on the edge of Burley. Well stocked bar for a quiet drink in the evening.

Ubicado en un entorno natural rodeado de hayas y de caballos salvajes, este rústico hotel es un enclave perfecto para disfrutar de tu estancia en el New Forest. El hotel está diseñado con amor, con cuidado, dándole importancia a cada detalle. Es totalmente precioso. Además de los servicios básicos -bar, restaurante- tiene una salita con juegos para pasar el rato, estanterías con libros y distintas estancias para disfrutar del entorno, decoradas con lucecitas y objetos de madera, chimeneas, leña… ¡una preciosidad! En cuánto a la habitación, fue muchísimo mejor de lo que me esperaba. La habitación era enorme, con una cama de gran tamaño y muy cómoda. El baño, totalmente equipado, es bastante grande también. Estuvimos muy a gusto. El restaurante fue una pasada. El desayuno era muy completo y estaba ríquisimo, con una parte de buffet donde ofrecían tostadas, bollería, fruta, yogur y cereales, y otra parte de libre elección con varias opciones -desayuno inglés, tostadas con aguacate, etc.-. En resumen, que con lo que desayunas tienes para aguantar sin comer todo el día prácticamente. Fuimos también una noche a cenar y, además de la elegancia que se veía presente, la comida fue un 10. Por último, quiero destacar el servicio de todo el personal del hotel, que nos trató con amabilidad y dulzura en todo momento. Resaltar el trabajo de Julie y Dawn que fue excelente. En resumen, The White Buck es uno de los mejores hoteles que he estado en mi vida y mira que he pisado más de 300 hoteles distintos.
